The Dirt on Goldman

Share

Maybe the world needs an intensive study on Albert Goldman, author of the biography “The Lives of John Lennon” (“The Flip Side of ‘Lennon’ Biography,” by Robert Hilburn, Sept. 3).

It’s sure to be a best seller, or at least a TV movie.

What was he like when he was writing about Lenny Bruce, Elvis and John Lennon? What did he say to his friends? Was there a tendency to rages and hurting the people he loved? Is there some link missing in the man’s soul for him to write as he does?

I have a feeling that a biography on Albert Goldman may be even more interesting than the ones he creates.
