Local News in Brief : El Toro : Prisoner Escapes From Musick Jail
Sheriff’s deputies Friday were searching for a prisoner who escaped from the county’s minimum-security James A. Musick Branch Jail.
The prisoner, Stephen Anthony Ursillo, 20, was serving a six-month sentence for attempted burglary and is not considered a danger to the public, Sheriff’s Lt. Richard J. Olson said.
Ursillo is white, 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 150 pounds. He has blond hair, hazel eyes and a light complexion, Olson said.
Olson said the inmate was reported missing about 12:30 a.m. Friday. How he escaped remains under investigation. Ursillo was due to be released Jan. 8, 1989.
