Is This a Case of Name-Dropping?

After reading Jim Murray’s column (Sept. 16) praising Raider Todd Christensen, one is almost ready to award this “superstar” a medal for dropping three perfectly thrown passes in the clutch against Houston.
Christensen is a talented player, but casting him in bronze is premature and unwarranted. There are many other tight ends just as deserving of Murray’s starry-eyed superlatives.
