Members of the Irving (Tex.) Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously to keep the concession stands at Texas Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, alcohol-free.
The Irving City Council must now decide on a request by Texas Stadium Corp., which has filed a request to sell beer, wine and wine coolers at concession stands at the stadium.
Texas Stadium is the only major professional sports stadium in the nation where alcoholic beverages are not sold at concession stands.
