The Top Five movies on the Billboard video rental chart this week closely resemble those of the last few weeks, suggesting that renters are waiting to see what new titles are coming out before committing to taking any home. “Suspect,” starring Dennis Quaid and Cher, has fallen out of the Top Five, but the actress’ “Moonstruck” is still No. 1. “Broadcast News” (No. 4) and “The Last Emperor” (No. 5) don’t appear to have the momentum to reach No. 1. “Good Morning, Vietnam” still tops the Billboard sales chart.

* “The Milagro Beanfield War,” director Robert Redford’s cosmic comedy/drama, might engender enough cult appeal to make it a winner on the rental market. The film was the subject of much prerelease publicity when it was shown in theaters last March, but did only mediocre business at the box office. It entered the rental chart at No. 19.
