Holieway’s Lost Weekend May Not Be a Lesson Lost
- Share via
Jamelle should know better. Several months ago, Jamelle Holieway stated that Oklahoma would beat USC by a score of 28-7. He recently revised that to 28-14, but obviously he still didn’t get it right.
He didn’t consider two things:one is that it doesn’t pay to brag and tell everyone how bad you are going to beat your opponent;and secondly, he failed to realize the degree of skill and pride that Coach Larry Smith has instilled in the Trojans.
I hope Holieway learned a lesson.
