Jamaica to Get Storm Aid

WASHINGTON —
The United States will provide about $125 million in disaster assistance to Jamaica to aid recovery efforts from about $1 billion in damage inflicted by Hurricane Gilbert last month, the White House announced Monday. President Reagan promised the aid at an Oval Office meeting with Jamaican Prime Minister Edward Seaga, it said.
