Shortstop Ozzie Smith of the St. Louis Cardinals is being sued for allegedly refusing to pay his agents more than $300,000 in commissions for negotiating his contract, which reportedly paid him $2.2 million a year. The suit filed in U.S. District Court in Chicago, was brought by Shamrock Nevada Corp. of San Diego, which negotiated the 4-year contract.
