Bree Walker, formerly an anchorwoman at KGTV in San Diego who has received much media attention for her success at overcoming a serious birth defect in a business where perfect looks are everything, will begin anchoring KCBS-TV Channel 2’s 5 p.m. newscast with Jim Lampley on Oct. 24. Walker, who was born with claw-like hands and feet, will replace Terry Murphy, who will be on maternity leave through the end of the year. An award winning consumer and investigative reporter who spent the last year working at the CBS-owned station in New York, Walker will also report news series and documentaries for Channel 2.
