Low-Cost Dental Services Offered at Compton Clinic
Low-cost dental services are available for children 5 and older and for adults at the Compton Health Center, 300 E. Rosecrans Ave. The services include examinations and X-rays, fillings, cleaning, extractions, treating infections and emergency care. Only examinations, X-rays and fillings are available for those age 18 and older.
Payment by Medi-Cal, or $25, or a smaller cash fee based on ability to pay, is required for each visit. The fee is not raised regardless of how much service is provided, according to James C. Wilson, Compton Health District dentist.
The clinic is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. five days a week by appointment only. Call 603-7041 for more information or for an appointment.
