Firefighters Dismantle Chimney to Extricate Man

TACOMA, Wash. — Firefighters had to dismantle a chimney brick by brick to free a man who tried to make a Santa Claus-style entry to his home after locking himself out, officials said. Neighbors heard Leroy Townsend call for help after he got stuck in the 18-inch opening Friday.
