Local News in Brief : Huntington Beach : Candidate Interviews to Be Broadcast Thursday
Rogers Cablesystems will broadcast a live candidates’ night Thursday as part of a series of campaign reports during the weeks before the city election.
Various support groups of the Huntington Beach Library are underwriting the costs of the program, which will be presented from television studios at City Hall.
Matt Liffreing will host the candidates’ night and several other campaign programs, many of which will include interviews with candidates for Huntington Beach City Council, city clerk and city treasurer.
The local cable channel also will provide election night coverage beginning at about 10 p.m. on Nov. 8.
