Local News in Brief : Police Seek Hit-Run Driver
Police in Inglewood are looking for a hit-and-run driver who killed a 38-year-old man early Sunday at Century Boulevard and Firmona Avenue.
Ignacio Santiago was killed about 2 a.m. as he stepped off the curb, said Police Sgt. Harold Moret.
Witnesses told police that the right front of the early 1970s model, light-blue Cadillac Coupe de Ville that hit Santiago was damaged, Moret said. Police said they do not have a description of the driver, who was alone in the car.
Anyone with information about the car or driver is asked to call investigator Robert Myers at 412-5210.
