Ex-British Leader Callaghan, 76, Hospitalized

LONDON —
Former Prime Minister James Callaghan collapsed at a memorial service today and was taken to a hospital.
Lord Callaghan, 76, Labor prime minister between 1976 and 1979, became ill in St. Margaret’s Church at a service for a former colleague and was taken to St. Thomas’ Hospital. Callaghan, who suffered a mild heart attack in June, was held for observation.
