Union Pacific Corp.’s third-quarter earnings increased 6% from last year to $165 million. Revenue totaled $1.7 billion, up 13%. The Bethlehem, Pa., railroad, natural resource and real estate holding company attributed the results to Union Pacific Railroad’s record earnings of $138 million for the quarter, a gain of 22%.
