Dennis Johnson said he will play 2 more seasons with the Boston Celtics, then retire, ending a 14-year career. Johnson, in Madrid with the rest of the team for the second annual McDonald’s Open this weekend, told the Boston Herald he will sign a 1-year extension of his contract when he returns to Boston next week. It will take him through the 1989-90 season.
