The Media and Presidential Debates

The debate is over. The vice president won. As a loyal Democrat who believes in the values (yes, Mr. Vice President) of my party over those of the opposition, I exhort my fellow Democrats to get involved. Our nominee can do only so much. He demonstrated in the debate that he is a sensitive person, as is his opponent.
Now it is time for those of us who believe in the importance of the value differences to explain what they are to our friends who might be influenced to help us get Dukakis elected. It does make a difference!
