A retired California Department of Transportation supervisor pleaded guilty Friday to seven sex charges involving children.
Colby Watson Flaherty, 66, of Loma Portal, pleaded guilty to one count of oral copulation with a minor and six counts of employment of a minor to perform sexual acts.
He is in County Jail on $200,000 bail. He is to be sentenced Dec. 15.
Flaherty was arrested in July after police were tipped that he had been molesting one girl for two years after he first lured her into his house with promises of candy.
Police said many pornographic photographs were seized at Flaherty’s home, and some of the pictures dated from 1970. Police reported there was evidence that Flaherty may have sold some of his child pornography to publishing houses.
