A court-appointed doctor has concluded that billionaire real estate magnate Harry B. Helmsley has memory and reasoning problems that would impair his standing trial on tax evasion charges, it was disclosed. Helmsley and his wife, Leona, 67, were indicted April 15 on state and federal charges of evading taxes on almost $4 million in income by passing it off as business expenses.
