Fired Employee Takes Hostages at Workplace

CHARLOTTE, N. C. —
A man upset over being fired took his former manager and two other employees hostage Wednesday, but surrendered after talking with a television reporter and police negotiators, police said. Reginald Isaac apparently knew he was about to be fired from Floortech Co. and had told his girlfriend what he planned to do.
