Dennis Quaid has gone the distance in trying to get his Jerry Lee Lewis thang down pat for the upcoming Lewis biofilm “Great Balls of Fire.” Quaid said he’s taken a few months of piano lessons; he’s watched tape after tape of Lewis in performance; heck, he’s even gone to see the rocker in concert. But Jerry Lee said Wednesday there’s no way Quaid would do The Killer’s songs on the movie’s eventual sound track album. “You’re not getting the sound track, boy,” Lewis told Quaid. The rocker said he was sort of impressed with Quaid’s efforts, but insisted he plans to record the music for the movie himself, thank you very much. Filming is to begin Monday in and around Memphis, Tenn., on the movie.
