Local News in Brief : Countywide : History Buffs to Gather for 2-Day Conference
Presidential politics in Orange County and the growth of commercial aviation will be among the topics discussed when history buffs gather for a 2-day conference today and Saturday to explore the county’s past.
The conference at Chapman College is sponsored by the college, the Orange County Historical Society and Orange County Centennial Inc. More than 30 historical societies and organizations from throughout the county are participating.
Registration will be at the door at 6:30 p.m. today and 8 a.m. Saturday. The cost is $15.
