‘Kahane Effect’ in Israel
After reading your editorial on Kahane, I feel that you seem to turn a blind eye to Arab brutality and terrorism. Your editorial makes no mention of a suicide car bombing of Israeli soldiers protecting civilians in Israel’s north. No mention of Syrian treatment of its remaining 5,000 Jews. No mention of the Palestine Liberation Organization charter.
If Israel has failed to make peace with its neighbors, Israel has had no help, save Egypt, at all.
(You mention) Israel banning an extreme party and not one word of praise. Name another country that has taken such a step, especially under Israel’s circumstances. Name an Arab country that has taken such a step. You can’t.
