Laurence Olivier is fine, after all. The 81-year-old actor-baronet was discharged Tuesday from a British hospital after some routine tests following a kidney operation last year. A duty officer at the Royal Sussex Hospital in Brighton, on the English south coast, said, “They were routine tests and, as the results won’t be available for a few days, Lord Olivier was sent home. He was quite fit enough to go.” Laurence Evans, Olivier’s agent, said there was no cause for alarm about the actor’s health.
