110 Arrested in Sweep

More than 110 suspected drunk drivers were arrested in a crackdown that targeted four freeways leading into downtown Los Angeles, authorities said Saturday.
A combined force of Los Angeles police and California Highway Patrol officers was involved in the sweep, focusing on the Golden State, Hollywood, Harbor and Santa Monica freeways and on some streets north of downtown, Police Sgt. Mike Pattee said.
