Halfback Mike Mayweather rushed for 192 yards and a touchdown, and quarterback Bryan McWilliams scored twice Saturday, leading Army to a 28-15 victory over Air Force in the rain at West Point, N.Y.

The win gives the Cadets (7-1) the chance to regain possession of the Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy, emblematic of supremacy among the three service academies.

Air Force (5-4) is the defending champion and has already beaten Navy, 34-24. An Army victory over the Midshipmen Dec. 3 will give the Cadets the trophy for the fifth time. If Navy wins, Air Force keeps the trophy.
