Child Killed as Fighter Jet Crashes in India

NEW DELHI —
An Indian MIG-21 fighter jet crashed into a residential neighborhood on the outskirts of the capital today, killing a 3-year-old girl, a news agency reported.
At least eight other people on the ground were injured, six of them seriously, as the plane hit three houses, United News of India said. The pilot bailed out safely.
