Pat Sajak, who becomes TV’s next late-night personality with the debut of CBS’ “Pat Sajak Show” in January, has chosen his sidekick: former Nashville newsman Dan Miller. The appointment reunites Sajak and Miller, who worked together from 1972-77 when Sajak was a weatherman and Miller was a news anchor at Nashville’s WSMV-TV. More recently, Miller served as anchor for KCBS-TV Channel 2 in Los Angeles. Also new to the Sajak team: saxophonist and composer Tom Scott, appointed as conductor for the show’s in-studio band.
