At Melbourne, Fla., Miller Barber won a $225,000 Senior tournament, becoming the third 50-and-older player to finish a 54-hole tournament at 19 under par in the history of the Senior PGA Tour.
Barber, a 57-year-old Texan, had a final round 4-under-68 at the 6,590-yard Suntree Country Club to join Bruce Crampton and Don January in the record books.
Elsewhere in Florida, Bill Glasson, capping his best season in 5 years on the PGA Tour, won a $500,000 tournament at Tallahassee by 2 strokes.
