Detroit Lions defensive end Reggie Rogers was freed on $10,000 personal bond in Pontiac, Mich., after he pleaded not guilty in the Oct. 20 traffic deaths of three teen-agers. He had been charged in a warrant with three counts of involuntary manslaughter.
Oakland County Prosecutor L. Brooks Patterson has said that Rogers could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted on three felony counts of involuntary manslaughter.
Prosecutors have said that the blood alcohol levels of both Rogers and the victims were above the legal limit of 0.10%. Rogers had a blood alcohol level of 0.15% after the crash, according to state police.
