West Hollywood : Benefit for ‘Soaring Spirits’

American Women in Radio and Television will present celebrities and comediennes tonight at Carlos ‘n’ Charlie’s nightclub in a comedy benefit for the organization’s “Soaring Spirits” charity.
Weekend getaways, sports memorabilia and home electronics will be auctioned.
“Soaring Spirits” provides TV programming and equipment for Los Angeles’ children’s hospitals.
Tickets for the event, which begins at 6:30 p.m., will be available at the door for $12. The nightclub is located at 8240 Sunset Blvd. For information, call (213) 736-0706 or 736-0711.
