Police today arrested more than 100 anti-abortion demonstrators blocking the doors to a Planned Parenthood clinic.

Some protesters were carried and a few dragged by police to buses and police vans. Deputy Chief John Sturner said those arrested would be charged with trespassing, and most would be issued citations to return to court at a later date. Brian Gibson, associate director of Pro-Life Action Ministries of St. Paul, said the protest was inspired by Operation Rescue, an anti-abortion group that showed up in force in Atlanta.
