Cute quasi-metalists Bon Jovi are the latest pop outfit to pack up for the Soviet Union, the band’s management has announced. The chart-topping rockers, currently on tour in Europe, are planning to perform in the Soviet Union between Monday and Dec. 2. The specific dates and sites have yet to be set but the shows may include playing with the Russian rockers Gorky Park, who recently signed with Bon Jovi’s label, PolyGram. “A C chord in America is a C chord in Russia,” said Jon Bon Jovi. “There are no political barriers when it comes to kids and music or the problems kids have.”
