USC Plays Host to Portland; Loyola Opens With Azusa Pacific

USC’s basketball team, off to its best start since 1979, plays the University of Portland tonight at 7:30 at the Sports Arena.
The Trojans (2-0), who opened with a 74-68 win over Delaware, are coming off an impressive 22-point victory over Howard University Saturday night.
Portland lost its season-opener to Oregon State, 106-59, Saturday night in Corvallis, Ore.
