Myron S. Nightingale; Master Wine Maker

Myron S. Nightingale, 73, a master California wine maker who won numerous awards during a career that spanned four decades. As wine master emeritus and consultant at Beringer Vineyards since 1983, Nightingale’s name became associated with sweet dessert wines produced by that winery. Nightingale was a member and former president of the American Society of Enology and Viticulture. Friday in St. Helena, Calif.
