Fleetwood Enterprises Inc. reported a 91% increase in second-quarter net income to $21 million, compared to the year-ago period. The Riverside-based producer of motor homes, travel trailers and manufactured housing attributed the gain to increased sales volume and better margins achieved through more efficient operations. Fueled primarily by improved demand for the company’s recreational vehicles, revenue was up 16% to $419.5 million, the company said.
