Quayle Cartoon

Conrad’s cartoon of Nov. 23, picturing Richard Nixon saying, “I am not a crook!” and Dan Quayle saying, “I am not an intellectual midget!” was uncalled for, but typical of your newspaper. If some of the midget minds in Washington were as knowledgeable as Nixon on world affairs, perhaps this country would not be in the mess it is in today. As for Quayle, just how do the sneering liberals know just what this man is capable of? Are they psychic?
