U.S. Denies Visa to Arafat
Arafat’s application for a visa to speak to the U.N. was turned down by our government. As it turns out nobody is on our side on this issue except, of course, Israel. The U.S. government again has effectively isolated itself from the world. Even Canada and Great Britain diplomatically asked us to reconsider. Our efforts on behalf of peace in the Middle East have reached yet another low. Who says we are the leader of the Western world?
