Business Classes
Business education classes are slowly being removed from the high schools. Senior high schools in the Los Angeles city schools that once boasted large business departments have now been whittled down to few teachers and scant offerings. Graduation requirements coming down from Sacramento have so filled students’ schedules that students cannot take the business classes that will help them survive in the real outside world.
If you want kids to be able to continue taking typing and other business classes in high school, write to Bill Honig, state superintendent of schools, and your local board of education.
