Local News in Brief : Cypress : 2 Christmas Workshops for Youngsters Offered
The Cypress Recreation and Park District is offering two Christmas workshops for youngsters at which they can make ornaments and gifts, bake cookies and play games.
Both workshops will be held Dec. 19 at the Cypress Community Center, 5700 Orange Ave. The class for children ages 5 to 7 will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; children 8 to 11 years old will meet from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
The fee is $8 and includes materials and snacks. For information, call (714) 229-6780.
