Arson was suspected in an early-morning fire that gutted an abandoned 60-year-old Sunkist orange-packing plant in Orange County today, authorities said. Officials arrested a vagrant who was seen in the area during the 4:20 a.m. fire, which took 100 firefighters almost two hours to control.
