5.0 Quake Hits Alaska

PALMER, Alaska —
A moderate earthquake with a preliminary reading of 5.0 shook the area south of Anchorage on the Kenai Peninsula today but no injuries or property damage were reported, officials at the Tsunami Warning Center said.
