Diodes Inc. closed its semiconductor rectifier plant in Lynn, Mass., and moved some production to a new plant in Taiwan to follow the electronics business and be closer to its customers, the company said. NAE Inc., Diodes’ wholly owned subsidiary in Lynn, laid off 12 workers. The Chatsworth-based firm acquired NAE in 1985 for about $200,000 and has lost nearly $1 million on the Lynn plant since, a company spokesman said.
