Brennan Recovering With Treatment for Pneumonia

WASHINGTON — Supreme Court Justice William J. Brennan Jr. reportedly responded well to medical treatment Friday, a day after he was hospitalized with pneumonia. Kathy Arberg, a Supreme Court spokeswoman, quoted doctors as saying that Brennan, 82, was “continuing to improve and resting comfortably.”
