Lapin Is Awarded Custody of Children
After reading the article “Father Wins Custody in Lapin Case; Judge Rejects Allegations” (Dec. 2), I can appreciate the judge’s “disillusionment with both father and mother,” but I do not understand why the children were not made wards of the court, since they appear to be the real losers in this emotional case.
I believe that, at this time, they should not have been returned to the custody of either parent.
