Mike Tyson said his repeatedly postponed heavyweight title fight against Britain’s Frank Bruno will be held Feb. 25, possibly in Las Vegas.

Tyson confirmed the date, but when asked about the site said, “Wherever it is.”

Promoter Don King, who accompanied Tyson to a Christmas party for children and wives of New York police officers been killed in the line of duty, said Las Vegas was “pretty definite,” but that a decision could be made “as early as today.”

On Friday, Tyson fired trainer Kevin Rooney, but manager Bill Cayton said he was hopeful the two would be reunited.

“Kevin is a most sincere and loyal guy,” Cayton said. “I know he is a great trainer--the best trainer in the world for Mike. He has love for Mike.

“You can’t buy a combination like that.”
