Making Helmets Mandatory
Isn’t it rather bizarre that on Page 1 of the Dec. 6 Metro Section you have an article about Gary Busey’s motorcycle crash in which police officers are quoted as saying that his accident on Washington Boulevard in Culver City might not have been so serious if he had been wearing a helmet while immediately following on Page 2, same section, you have a photograph of a California Highway Patrol officer on a motorcycle dressed as Santa, apparently not wearing a helmet, on Washington Boulevard!
What’s the message here?
