House Fire in Alabama Claims 4 Children, Adult

YORK, Ala. — A house fire apparently started by children playing with matches killed an adult and four children, authorities said Friday. Three children escaped from the wood-frame home, which was reported on fire around midnight Thursday, Sumter County Coroner James Campbell said.
