A $100,000 scholarship fund to provide Olympic aspirants $3,000 to $4,000 training grants over the next 4 years was announced by Glendale Federal Savings and Loan Assn., which is providing the money through the Amateur Athletic Foundation of Los Angeles.

The recipients, who will include 15 Southern Californians, 5 Northern and Central Californians and 5 Floridians, must demonstrate potential for excellence in a sport that is part of the 1992 Olympic Games or 1991 Pan American Games.
