Sobriety Checkpoints and Alcohol’s Toll

On Page 1 of the Orange County Edition on Dec. 6, it is reported that an alcoholic is sentenced to 15 years in prison.
On Page 2, a 7-year-old boy is killed in a car driven by his father, “who may have been intoxicated.”
Page 4 is dominated by an ad aimed at co-defendants (victims of alcoholic families).
On Page 5, Mothers Against Drunk Driving proposes use of their “red-ribbon” tactics to discourage drunk driving over the holidays; and another large ad offers a treatment program for the alcoholic.
Is anyone billing the alcohol industry?
